Q: Do I sign a contract when I join?
A: Yes. The Club Contract is available to download for your review. Please call us with any questions.
Q: What if I'm not sure of my ability to skipper a boat?
A: After joining the club you will get a thorough check-out on each of the boats you wish to sail. If you decide that additional instruction is needed to get you up to speed, we offer private classes at 10% discount.
Q: How long are the boats available for use during the year?
A: Our season officially begins on April 15 and ends on November 1, but we keep CALs and Sonars in the water during the winter months.
Q: Will I have trouble getting a boat when I want one?
A: We recommend making reservations as far in advance as possible especially if the weather report is calling for perfect weekend sailing. Depending upon the level of your membership , you will have access to up to 20 boats.
Q: Can I take non-member sailing? And, is there an additional charge?
A: You are free to take anyone sailing whether they are a member or not. There is no additional fee.
Q: How do I make a reservation for a boat?
A: All reservations should be made through our online system.You will be issued a user ID and a password when you register for the club. Boat availability will be shown once you log in.
Q: How often can I use the boats?
A: You can sail as often as you like, but you may only have two reservations pending at any given time.
