TeamSail Regatta
Learn to sail as a team in Baltimore! Our high-energy TeamSail Regatta utilizes a fleet of nine matched Sonars for an exciting regatta. Sailing by its nature requires that the skipper and crew work together as a team, smoothly and effectively. Communication is an important component as is leadership; and, these skills are practiced in an environment of excitement and challenge.

The large cockpit of the Sonar allows four or five participants, plus our skipper, to sail in comfort and safety while taking an active role in sailing the boat.

The maximum number of participants in our TeamSail Regatta is 50. The minimum number for which we can plan a program is 12.

Getaway provides boats, skippers, classroom, rain-jackets, racing marks, ribbons and committee boat (for groups of 12 or more). Customized t-shirts and gourmet lunches can be provided for an additional cost.

Cost:
• Half-day (4 hours or less), $100 per person
• Full-day (4 to 8 hours), $145 per person

Additional options:
Full photographic coverage is offered for an additional $6 per person. The photo record includes lots of photos of the regatta, team and full group photos and candid pictures of the after-race celebration. Movie footage with accompanied CD is available at $2 per person extra.

Cash Deposits & Refunds:
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total cost along with a signed contract is required at the time the event is scheduled. In case the client wishes to reschedule the event there is a $200 fee for rescheduling the event. If GS cancels for any reason, the deposit plus any additional payments will be refunded.

TeamSail Cruise
Learn the basics of sailing while acting as a crew member on a cruising sailboat. Rotate through the many boat positions such as sail-trimmer, navigator and helmsperson. There will still be time to enjoy the bustling waterfront scene. There's nothing like sailing to work up an appetite. You will enjoy a delicious gourmet lunch while underway. The sailboats used for the TeamSail Cruise range in size from 30 to 36 feet. Each boat has a limit of six passengers. The Getaway fleet includes four boats suitable for TeamSail Cruises so there is a limit of 24 participants.

Cost:
Half-day (up to 4 hours), $450 per boat;
Full-day (up to 8 hours), $600/ boat

Overnight cruise, $300 per person (minimum of 3 people). 

The cost includes boat and captain. Gourmet box lunches are available for an additional fee. Tax is applied if the cruise is non-instructional.
